Volunteer Award

Award Description:
This award recognizes an exceptional individual who has dedicated their time, energy, and passion to supporting the community. Through selfless service, advocacy, or behind-the-scenes efforts, they have made a meaningful and lasting impact on those they serve. Their commitment to creating positive change and inspiring others to give back exemplifies the true spirit of volunteerism.

Eligibility:
Nominees must be volunteers who have significantly contributed to a nonprofit organization, community initiative, or cause through their time, skills, and dedication.

Selection Criteria:
Nominees will be evaluated based on the following:

1. Dedication & Commitment – Demonstrates a strong, long-term commitment to volunteer service, consistently going above and beyond to support the community.

2. Impact & Effectiveness – Makes a tangible difference through their volunteer efforts, positively influencing individuals, organizations, or community initiatives.

3. Leadership & Advocacy – Serves as a role model, inspiring others to engage in volunteerism and advocating for causes that promote social good.

4. Innovation & Initiative – Brings creativity and problem-solving to their volunteer work, improving programs, expanding services, or increasing outreach.

5. Collaboration & Teamwork – Works effectively with others, fostering a spirit of cooperation and strengthening the collective impact of volunteer efforts.

The award will be officially presented at the 2025 Housing Symposium on May 7, 2025. Please note this submission may be read to all attendees, and posted publically at the discretion of the selection committee.
