Award Description:This award recognizes an outstanding front-line worker who demonstrates exceptional dedication, compassion and resilience in serving their community. Through their daily interactions with clients, they provide vital support, guidance and care, making a profound and lasting impact on those they assist. Their unwavering commitment, perseverance, and selfless efforts embody the true spirit of a front-line hero.
Eligibility:Nominees must be front-line workers who provide direct services to individuals, families or communities.
Selection Criteria:Nominees will be evaluated based on the following:
Compassion & Empathy – Demonstrates genuine care, understanding and respect for the individuals they serve, creating a supportive and inclusive environment.
Dedication & Commitment – Consistently goes above and beyond their role to ensure the well-being of clients, showing exceptional reliability and work ethic.
Impact & Effectiveness – Makes a difference in the lives of those they assist, whether through advocacy, mentorship, crisis intervention or ongoing support.
Resilience & Adaptability – Navigates challenges and high-pressure situations with professionalism, strength and a commitment to maintaining high-quality service.
Leadership & Advocacy – Serves as a role model for peers, advocating for clients' needs and working to improve systems that support vulnerable individuals.

The award will be officially presented at the 2025 Housing Symposium on May 7, 2025.
